Product Usage Agreement
Last updated: September 30, 2026
1. What this agreement is
This Product Usage Agreement ("PUA") sets out product-specific rules for using Maya AI's platform, dashboards, APIs, MCP tools, chat features, reports, content tools, and integrations. It is part of, and incorporated into, the Terms of Service. By accepting the Terms at registration or checkout, you also accept this PUA. Capitalized terms have the meanings given in the Terms.
If this PUA conflicts with the Terms, the Terms control, except where this PUA is expressly more specific about a product rule. Nothing in this PUA reduces an express commitment in a signed Order. The disclaimers, limitations of liability, indemnification, and dispute-resolution provisions of the Terms — including binding arbitration and the class action waiver — apply fully to your use of every feature described here.
2. How Maya measures — and what you may rely on
Maya observes brand appearances in AI answers by running monitored prompts against selected AI platforms on a schedule, then analyzing answers, citations, sentiment, and related signals.
You acknowledge that:
- measurements are samples, taken at particular times, locations, languages, and model versions; they are not a census of real user activity and can differ from answers any individual user sees;
- scores, rankings, share of voice, sentiment, and trend lines are derived metrics computed by Maya's methodology, which we may refine over time; a methodology refinement can shift values without any change in your actual visibility;
- third-party AI platforms change models, formats, and access without notice; a measurement gap or shift caused by such a change is not a defect in the Services;
- data freshness depends on schedules, quotas, and third-party availability shown in the product.
Before making significant business, advertising, or investment decisions on Maya data, verify the underlying answers and sources in the product. Maya data is decision support only; you assume all risk of decisions made in reliance on it, and Maya has no liability for such decisions.
3. Quotas, capacity, and fair use
Your plan defines included capacity such as monitored prompts, projects, providers, refresh frequency, and content generation. Where a feature is described as unlimited, the fair-use rule in the Terms applies: no fixed numerical cap within normal business use of your organization, but no resale, automated abuse, or workloads that degrade the platform for others.
You must not:
- create or use multiple accounts, workspaces, or trials to evade quotas, gates, or pricing;
- share credentials or API keys across unrelated organizations, or resell platform access, seats, or capacity;
- run automated traffic against the product interface beyond the APIs and integrations we provide for that purpose.
If your usage causes an operational problem, we may apply proportionate, temporary rate limits or safeguards and will work with you on suitable capacity.
4. API and MCP usage
API keys and MCP tokens are confidential credentials of your workspace. You are responsible for requests made with them until you revoke them or report a compromise.
You may use the APIs and MCP tools to access your own workspace data for your business purposes, including building internal dashboards and authorized client reporting. You must not use them to bulk-extract Maya's cross-customer datasets, benchmarks, or scoring models; to reconstruct the platform for a competing service; or to circumvent product limits, caching, or authentication.
We may set and adjust technical rate limits on API and MCP endpoints to protect the platform. When you connect Maya to a third-party AI assistant or MCP client, that client's provider also receives the data you request through it under its own terms; review the scopes you grant and revoke connections you no longer need.
5. Connectors and third-party accounts
Connecting an external account (for example search-console, analytics, webmaster, commerce, publishing, or advertising services) authorizes Maya to process data within the scopes you approve. You confirm that you are entitled to connect that account and to grant those scopes — in particular for client accounts you manage as an agency.
Third-party connector data is presented as received; Maya does not warrant its accuracy or completeness. Disconnecting a connector stops future collection but does not automatically erase data already lawfully collected or copies held by the third party. Each connected service's own terms and privacy practices continue to apply to your relationship with that service.
6. Content generation and publishing
Content tools can draft articles, recommendations, ads, social posts, and other material. All generated content is a draft for your review. Before you publish or act on it, you are responsible for verifying factual claims, securing intellectual-property and image rights, complying with advertising, labeling, and disclosure rules that apply to you (including any duty to disclose AI-generated content), and ensuring regulated statements are permitted in your industry and jurisdiction.
Where Maya can publish or schedule content to a connected destination, publishing happens only under your authorization, including standing authorizations you configure. Configure standing authorizations carefully; content published under them is treated as reviewed by you.
You must not use content or optimization features to produce spam, fabricated reviews, deceptive endorsements, cloaking, or other practices that violate law or the policies of the platforms you target. Recommendations Maya generates do not guarantee acceptance by any search or AI platform, and following them is your decision.
7. Reports and sharing
You may share reports and exports generated for your account with your organization and, for agencies, with the clients the work was performed for. Shared links can be accessible to anyone holding the link where the product says so; treat them accordingly. When sharing externally, do not remove measurement context (dates, methodology notes) in a way that makes the data misleading, and do not present Maya data as an endorsement by Maya or by any AI platform.
8. Trials, betas, and experimental features
Features marked beta, preview, labs, or experimental are provided for evaluation: they may be incomplete, change substantially, produce lower-quality results, or be withdrawn, and they carry no SLA or availability commitment unless expressly agreed. Do not rely on an experimental feature for production-critical workflows. Feedback you give on such features is handled as described in the Terms.
9. Enforcement
If we reasonably believe your use violates this PUA or the Terms, we may apply graduated measures: warning you, rate-limiting or disabling the affected feature, suspending the workspace, or terminating for material breach as the Terms allow. We give notice and an opportunity to resolve the issue unless doing so would create a security risk or violate law. The suspension, termination, refund, and liability provisions of the Terms apply to enforcement under this PUA.
10. Changes and contact
We may update this PUA as the product evolves, following the change-notice rules in the Terms. Questions about product usage go to [email protected].
