How we measure
The prompt set is curated with sector expertise and versioned; the same questions run on the same platforms every week. A brand's score is the share of analyzed answers in which the brand is recommended by name or known aliases. Platform-days with technical outages are excluded. Published weekly results are frozen and never restated. Mention rate is computed per individual answer: the same question counts as six separate answers across the six platforms.

- How is this index measured?
- Every week, unbranded questions of the kind real users ask are run across 6 AI platforms. - Why do results differ between AI platforms?
- Each AI draws on different sources and surfaces different brands. The sharpest example this week is Faber-Castell: mentioned in 23.0% of Gemini answers but only 5.4% of Perplexity answers. Looking at a single platform is misleading.
